Trocaire College is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. It offers associate degree programs in the fields of nursing and health science education. It also offers courses in subjects, including art, business, general studies, health science, history, insurance and math. Additionally, it offers courses in music, office technology, philosophy, physics, psychology and religious studies. It has computer labs with more than 100 computers, offers up-to-date microcomputer instruction and word processing software programs. Its Rachel R. Savarino library collection contains books, journals, video cassettes and audiocassettes, newspapers and the Helene Fuld media center. The library has Internet-accessible computers for educational research. The college also offers a variety of grants, scholarships, in-school employment opportunities and loan programs. Established in 1958, Trocaire College is located in Buffalo, N.Y.
