People Inc. is a nonprofit human services agency that provides health and wellness services to people with physical and mental handicaps. It offers programs and services, such as community outreach, day programs, employment and training services, services for children and young adults, and family support services. It also offers other services that include health care, information and referral, and residential and senior services. It is a member of American Rehabilitation Association, Association of Behavioral Healthcare Management, Association of Community and Residential Agencies and Western New York Healthcare Association. Established in 1970, People Inc. provides services to more than 6,000 individuals every year, and is located in Amherst, N.Y.
