I highly recommend this restaurant if you like real Mexican food. I have lunch at LA Tolteca on the regular and each time I have not left unsatisfied. Recently I tried a different Mexican restaurant and was highly disappointed. At LA Tolteca's, the prices and portions alone will make you want to come back and the atmosphere is nice. You must try it!!!

The Best Mexican Cuisine around! The service is fantastic and friendly, the food is delicious and the price is right. The only reason I decided to post this review was because I was so disappointed with the comments made by the previous reviewer. I don't know where you go for mexican cuisine, but i've been all over and it doesn't get better than La Tol Teca. We go maybe twice a week and I can say that I've never had a bad meal or a bad visit. I suggest next time trying the 219--and once you do, I guarantee you'll be singing a different tune.Hell, I give this place 4 thumbs up, and I've only got 2 thumbs! La Tol Teca, best mexican cuisine around!

We visited La Tolteca on Friday evening at 7:30 PM. The decor is decent, the staff was efficient, but our #224 Taco Salads were very disappointing. We have these often at various restaurants around town, and Tolteca's were a poor excuse for a taco salad. For $8.95 we got an almost burned taco bowl partially filled with shredded lettuce and 1/2 slice of tomato. I found about 2 tablespoons of ground meet and refried beans on the bottom. That was it - no onions, no olives, no green peppers - nothing. The portion was barely a lunch-sized portion, but they charged the dinner price. A complete rip-off as far as I am concerned. I filled out a comment card and gave it to the manager. I am waiting to see if I hear from anyone. Unless I get a response from someone, I will not return, and will not recommend this restaurant to my friends.
