I have problems with my feet like arthritis, numbness etc. I went to Hooks shoe store on Eggert rd. The salesman was nice he said I needed larger shoes than I had been wearing. I usually wear a size 11, the salesman sold me a new Balance sneaker size 12 1/2. Beacuse of numbness, I couldn't tell if they fitted correctly. He tried to sell me an extra pair but I said no. I wore them in the house because they wouldn't take them back after 30 days and later wore them outside, and then stopped wearing them because they were to large. That was a year ago and I'm stuck with a pair of new balance sneakers that I didn't wear much. I saw my podiatrist today and he looked at them and said the size was way off and they shouldn't have sold them to me. Would I shope at Hooks again, no.

Excellent customer service, very knowledgeable staff. One asked me the location of arthritis pain in my knees, then added wedges in the heels of my shoes - pain gone!!! Couldn't have done Disney and Savannah without those wedges!
