Located in Buffalo, N.Y., The Enterprise Charter School is a grade kindergarten through nine school enrolling more than 400 students. It offers its students instruction based on New York State Learning Standards taught in multiage classrooms, conflict resolution training, and culminating projects per school year. Its curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, science, social studies, mathematics and language arts. It also offers classes in art, music, physical education, health, computers, technology and foreign languages. The school offers a full-time social worker and registered nurse to assist the school in developing a wellness program. It offers support services in the areas of reading and special education to help students reduce and eliminate academic difficulties. It offers multiple opportunities for community-based field trips to augment classroom instruction, before- and after-school programs, hands-on experiences, as well as direct instruction and differentiated instruction to meet students individual needs.
