Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery State University of New York at Buffalo Dr. Cameron Huckell is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a member of the North American Spine Society, the Scoliosis Research Society, the Cervical Spine Research Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the prestigious American Orthopaedic Association. Following Orthopaedic surgery residency, Dr. Huckell completed an advanced spinal training fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and practiced at Johns Hopkins Hospital for three years as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery. In addition, he served as Director of Orthopaedic Residency for two of those years. Dr. Huckell has lectured for the AO Spine Foundation and at national and international meetings. He was an invited speaker at Yale University on spinal topics. He is the author of several original peer reviewed articles and textbook chapters on spine surgery and related topics. Dr. Huckell has over 15 years of experience in the clinical practice of spine surgery and focuses on the treatment of neck and low back injuries. He has staff privileges at the Kaleida Health System, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Erie County Medical Center and Sisters of Mercy Hospital. He has a clinical interest in adult and pediatric spinal deformities including scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolisthesis, and other congenital disorders; also cervical spine disorders, cervical and lumbar disc herniations, spinal fractures, tumors, and minimally invasive spinal surgery.
