I've enjoyed Chef's many times over the years and can say I am never disappointed. The food quality is good, the wait staff is excellent and there is a wide variety of choices. I have been there with few people or with large groups and the service is always good. I believe that a restaurant like this has staying power in the Buffalo community and I am happy to support it!
Delicious for a little family-style Italian.

nothing over the top sauce is good and the spaghetti parm
Didn't really see what the big deal was with this place. Finally made my first visit there a few weeks ago and wasn't impressed with anything they had to offer. The prices were high, the food quality was average at best, this so-called "world famous sauce" was runny and bland, and the place is always so rammed with customers that don't know any better, that the service is borderline awful. It just seems like the only reason they keep getting customers in there is because there's a lot of useless celebrity photos on the wall that just look like the owners practically assaulted them on the street and forced them at gunpoint to hold a stupid jar of their sauce and pose for a picture. Everyone around us looked like they were having a miserable time at dinner and just wanted to get out of there. Couldn't blame them. I really don't see why everyone always talks about this place like it's the only place to eat in town. Pretty frankly, it's your run-of-the-mill mediocre italian restaurant.
