We just had dinner at the Black Forest Adler and it was fantastic!! The Jaeger Schnitzel was great and a huge portion also. Enough for lunch tomorrow! Try the desserts. The Strudel was hot and the best I have had in Buffalo. We even took home some Black Forest cake for dessert later tonight. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for German food.

The Jaeger schnitzel was a disappointment . The meat (pork) was only 1/8 of inch thick ,, if it wasn't for the bouillon gravy,, there wasn't any taste to the schnitzel..The breading added another 1/8 of a inch ,I had to ask for some applesauce which made it a little better.This could be corrected., too late for me to return .

Just got back from having a wonderful Easter dinner. We had the Easter special - Beef Rouladen - bacon, onions, mustard and pickles wrapped in thinly sliced beef which is then cooked and served with a delicious gravy over them; Red Cabbage; and Spaetzle - haus gemacht (home made). This meal was just like my mother used to make. I haven't had food this good since I left Germany. Western New York FINALLY has a German restaurant that is 100% authentic and the food is excellent! Now we don't have to go to Canada to get authentic German food. The service was excellent. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. If you like German food you have to try it!
