1. Called the day before my scheduled move to confirm my time slot2. Called an hour prior to arrival on the move day3. Used some sort of clear tape to protect my furniture, including mattresses, glass and other sensitive items4. Worked for 4.5 hours with no breaks or complaints - until the job was done5. Moved furniture around my new house exactly the way I requested.Overall, the movers were polite, had a right attitude and left me and my husband with a great experience (as great as moving an be, if you know what I mean...) I used Express Moving Company to move my 1 bedroom condo from Palatine to downtown Chicago on Nov 30, 2009.I was pleasantly surprised with movers professionalism and attitude. It actually had a great time talking to the guys during the move, and their efficiency didn't suffer a bit.The move took 3 hours to complete (driving time was 45-50 minutes), no damages or missing items.If you want people with positive attitude and great moving skills to help you relocate, go with these guys . My experience was extremely positive.

I contacted Express Moving Company to pack and move my 2 bedroom condo from Chicago downtown (Lakeshore Drive) to Naperville. This was a short notice move, and I was quite worried I will have trouble finding a mover. Fortunately, Brett had a crew available for next morning. The movers showed up at 9:00 sharp that morning. I was relieved since my wife had an elevator scheduled between 9 and 12. Packing took around 2.5 hours, which is a quite short period of time considering our inventory. What caught me by surprise was how quickly we got moved out: 1 hour 30 minutes, which is amazingly fast having in mind we live on the 29th floor. Unloading went smooth as well. Aslan, crew leader, inquired if we wanted our furniture to be reassembled. I owed this review to Brett, Marty, and Aslan. I strongly recommend Express Moving Company to anyone who is in need of reliable, honest and affordable movers.‎
