PENCOR, formerly known as Weatherly Laboratories, is one of the leading providers of reservoir fluid services in the United States. Founded in 1972, it specializes in wellsite sample acquisition and transfer services, and laboratory and advanced fluid studies. The company operates various mobile laboratories for on-site reservoir fluid sample validation evaluations. PENCOR provides a variety of services, including sample restoration, flow assurance testing, and bottom hole and surface separator sampling. Located in Broussard, La., it also offers high-pressure cylinders for the acquisition and storage of fluids from reservoirs with pressures of nearly 25,000 pound per square inch. PENCOR is a part of Core Laboratories, which offers a range of services, including reservoir monitoring, cargo analysis, crude oil inspection, database management and fracture diagnostics.
