If you are looking for something new and different for lunch or dinner - Cracovia Restaurant should be on the top of your list

They have a great selection of Polish & domestic beers, as well as a wide variety of menu items ranging from traditional Polish food such as pierogi, goulasz, kielbasa, and cabbage rolls, to some more American-inspired dishes like Hamburgers, Kabobs, and Stuffed Peppers.

I would recommend the "Platter" multi-course options if you've never had European cuisine as it is presented as a sampler so you are sure to find something you like.

Also, as others have commmented on- there is live music most Friday & Saturday evenings- it can get busy and loud so keep that in mind when taking your 97year old grandmother out for her birthday.

Lastly, I would call ahead for reservations as sometimes they are closed for private events, and they are always closed TUESDAYS.

All in all, best Polish restaurant in the Denver area!

My wife and I have been visiting this place for years now and each time we go we have a great experience. The food is great, the servers are very kind and attentive. We highly recommend the Pierogis here! If you want to venture into the unknown, the Black Sausage is amazing also! 5 Stars overall.

Yum! Who would have thought pickle soup could be so good? Have eaten there several times now. The sauerkraut it amazing and the kielbasa is excellent! Comes out on a sizzling platter. Go try it if you haven't already.

Polish Cuisine - Home-Cooking so good you think you are in Cracow, Poland!

If you want to try an Eastern Europe flavor, stop by and enjoy the fine Polish cuisine at Cracovia located in Westminster, CO. The prices are reasonable, the food is exceptional, and the staff are friendly. There are a wide variety of Polish and some American dishes on the menu. There is a bar with a wide variety of Polish beers in addition to the usual drinks. There are some combinations that are interesting such as a dinner for one that includes a sampling of various Polish dishes such as pierogi (stuffed dumplings), borsch (beet soup) and kielbasa (sausage). Their desserts are very tasty and includes an apple pie which is a slightly different recipe from the traditional and a cream-filled pastry that was said to be Pope John Paul II's favorite dessert. There is a dance floor in the back of the restaurant and on many weekend evenings live music is performed. If you want to experience fine home-cooked food with an ethnic flair, I recommend Cracovia - their food is comparable to many fine restaurants in Warsaw and Cracow, Poland.
