      Metropolis Moving is a privately owned moving company based in New York City. Home base is Brooklyn but we specialize in moves of all sizes in all 5 boroughs (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, the Bronx) and beyond. Lets face it, moving in NYC city is stressful, full of situations and unexpected encounters that are common only to New York. You can trust in us to have the experience to anticipate these problems and to plan ahead to make the move process as quick and painless as possible. Experience in the moving industry counts, and having guys who actually care for your move is invaluable. Our foremen (the guys in charge of the move) are managers in the company and are payed a percentage of each move rather than per hour. This is to ensure accountability on the job with our guys. They have a vested interest in making sure they’re on time, that things get done quickly but carefully, and that our strict standards of customer service are met. A move is a major change, and we enter your life for a little while in the midst of that change. Moving is a tough job, but getting to know new people, and getting out and seeing the city is actually pretty fun for us. We hope you see our guys as more than just hired movers, but guys you can relate to, making the entire process that much easier. Our customer’s satisfaction is our top priority.
