One person I spoke with was nice, the other was incredibly rude. When I told him another company offered me a better price, he hung up on me without another word.

There is definitely better service elsewhere.

I had a positive experience with Rusty's Auto Salvage. I called them, promptly got a quote for my car, and within one day the car was towed and I was payed. They were easy to get in touch with and had great customer service. The only thing I can complain about is I was told I would get a call once the car was picked up (I couldn't be there in person), but they never called. But I called the garage where it had been, and they told me everything had gone smoothly. Thanks Rusty's!

I was happy with the process until it came to the day of the pick up. They quoted me a time frame of 8am-12pm. I called at 12:30pm asking for an update and apparently they dispatched a tow truck at 11am but "due to the mass traffic" it will be another hour and a half. So I've already waited four and a half hours but what's another couple right? Wrong. I didn't want to sit around my house all morning and now afternoon. So happy I will only have this one experience with them.

The transmission on 1 of our work trucks, 2003 RAM 2500 died & not worth repairing. Contacting the local junk yards in Rochester, NY I was offered no higher than $500. On line I found the Junk-A-Car listing in Fairport & called. The initial call gathered vehicle specifics, my information & directed the call to another agent with no hold time. This agent found a buyer within 5 minutes offering $1,000 & I accepted. The conversations I had with all involved was professional & quick. The tow was scheduled for the next day & I received a call from the driver 1-hour prior to arrival. When the driver arrived he was a pleasure to deal with. He went above & beyond his job by assisting me removing the truck-bed tool box & helped carry it to my other vehicle. "5- STARS" for all involved! Rusty's auto salvage employees were very friendly and helpful. My car was undriveable and Rusty's worked with me to get it there, and even then the tow truck driver parked it way in the back of the lot, making it inaccessible. They told me not to worry about it, and that they would move it to the salvage yard for me. Great service I thank you all!
