So after my complaint, Ross the owner reached out, apologized for the lack of response (which in my opinion was not his fault), and offered a discount for the move. I think it shows the business is willing to go extra mile to make things right. Avi came in yesterday to do a walk through, and so far everything has been very smooth and easy. Let's see how good the actual move is!
