Masjid Hefaz, Anjuman Hafazatul Al-Islam Inc. of New York is a non profit organization. According to the Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammed (SAWS) Masjid Hefaz, Anjuman Hafazatul Al-Islam Inc. of New York is a non profit organization. It was established over 25 yrs ago by brothers from Guyana.Their goals was to establish within the Norwood section of the Bronx a place of worship and to develop the spirit of a collective life based on Islamic social manners.Today Masjid Hefaz is a pinnacle focal point where Muslims come and gather for 5 established salats and Friday , Jummah service. The Ummah (community) of Masjid Hefaz is devoted to the cause of Islam and help preserve their Islamic identity. It provides a spiritual, educational and social commitment to Muslims and our neighbors. We are committed to a respectful dialogue to all faiths and share our beliefs to educated those which practice other faiths.
