I have found Our Village Optician in Brockport to be extremely friendly and helpful. Over the years I have had many prescriptions filled by LeeLee and have always been impressed by her professional attitude and her wide selection of frames. Whenever I have needed follow-up service she has is quick to diagnose the problem and provides the solution needed. On one occasion LeeLee was even able to provide me with prescription ski goggles.

I would also complement the Secretary, Linda, who ably handles all the insurance details and truly cares about those she serves and has a warm welcoming smile.

I suspect that another comment posted on this cite is confused about where he had his experience, since Our Village Optician does not perform refraction for prescriptions and has no male employees.

rude

Our Village optician is the only place I have ever purchased glasses from. The first pair I got were a designer frame that cost around 600 dollars. The second time I came in for glasses, the optician came out with me after my eye exam, was being really nice and showing me different frames. I asked if there was a section of cheaper frames, he then turned to someone else and said "can you show this young lady our bargain (or something along those lines) frames" and walked away without so much as another glance in my direction. Today I called the office after getting frustrated with trying to measure my own pupillary distance. My eyes are so dark I can barely see my pupils. A woman answered the phone and after I explained my situation to her and asked if they had my PD on file, she put me on hold. Someone else got on the phone and rudely stated "we do not give that information out to our customers". Customer? I thought I was a patient. I would not reccomend going to this STORE, because clearly they do not care about their "customers" unless they think you will be spending lots of money to fatten their own wallets.
