Trans Tech has been serving the entire Shenandoah Valley since 1986, first starting out rebuilding transmissions and continuing to expand into a full service garage and then into the wrecker business. We have a 9600 sq ft full service 4 bay garage to work on your passenger car, diesel or gas pick up trucks, farm equipment, trailers and semi trucks, located just 10 miles north of Harrisonburg in Broadway. If its towing you need, our dispatchers are eager to answer your call day or night. Rain or shine, snow or sleet we're here for you. We can tow your vehicle locally and long distance. We do criminal back ground checks and drug testing on all our drivers to insure the safety of our customers. Our certified drivers are qualified to recover a tractor trailer laying on its side or just a pull start, we have the equipment for any type of job! We have several million dollars invested in equipment for material handling. From forklift's to large rubber tire loaders to off-road equipment. Our wrecker drivers are Wreck Master Certified and attend additional certification and training courses each year. We also train with our local fire departments, helping us to work together more smoothly and efficiently.

On 9/18/2013, we were traveling south on I-81 by mile mark 270.1 in Virginia when our Passenger Side Front Tire blow out in our RV around 6pm. After calling our insurance company and then the state police, the Trans Tech Towing truck came to tow us to their facility in Broadway, Virginia around 7:30pm. They let us (4 people) stay in the RV overnight using their electricity, water and refrigerator to store our New England seafood at No Charge! The next morning around 8am, Mark started working on our RV. In 4 hrs., he repaired/replaced wiring, leaking battery, circuit breakers and our spare tire. If you had seen the mess the blow out had made, you would have been Totally Amazed at the professionalism and friendly way they took care of all our needs. By 1pm, we were on our way. I was very impressed with the heavy duty equipment and how clean all of the wreckers were when I saw them working an accident. They managed to open roads within a short wait time and are very professional and knowledgeable in dealing with such a situation.

Got me off the road and to thier shop safetly and got me back on the road quickly.
Great service, fast and efficient. Technicians were very informative and helpful.
