Schwartz Slipcover Workshop hasn't always been the business it is today. It all started over 50 years ago, when Milt Schwartz picked up the craft from his father and began in the business of cutting slipcovers. Every Saturday morning, when current owner and son, Geoff, was a young boy, he was dragged out of bed and taken on deliveries with his father. At the time, he never saw himself becoming a business owner, but those Saturday mornings helped him learn the business and gain knowledge of the industry. In 1990 Geoff made the decision to move back to this area and get involved in the business that has always been a part of his life. He opened a workroom in Trenton and hired several people. He began to allow his father time to work at a different pace. Schwartz Slipcovers has become the business it is today with several changes and adding upholstery, draperies and bedding to their workroom. We are proud to say that our employees range in service from 9 to 21 years. Their dedication and work ethic is unparalleled. Currently, the business is located at the Canal Works, in Bristol, PA. Geoff and his father still work together to this day. They are fortunate to have a dedicated group of employees that continue to work with both of them. It truly is a family business
