The City Manager's Department is administered by the city government of Brisbane in California. The department is responsible for providing leadership and administrative directives for the implementation of policies set forth by the city council. The City Manager's Department provides administrative direction to department managers in order to accomplish the goals and objectives as defined in the city budget. It ensures that staff reports and relevant materials and information are provided to the city council and the public in a timely manner. The department also acts as the city council s representative during meetings with citizens, employees and businesses. In addition, the City Manager's Department is responsible for the implementation of redevelopment plans.
