Overland Trail Middle School serves students in grades five through eight. The school provides classes in science, social studies, math and language arts. It offers programs in choir, art, band, Spanish, computer technology, and physical and health education. Overland Trail Middle School also provides special education services. The school offers opportunities to participate in several student organizations, such as student council and the National Junior Honor Society. Its library has a collection of books and periodicals that complement the academic curriculum. In addition, the school encourages students to participate in sports activities. Overland Trail Middle School is a part of School District 27J.
