Founded in 1917, Bridgton Hospital is a 20-plus-bed facility that provides a range of medical and health care services. It serves more than 20 towns in Maine. The hospital features medical and surgical, intensive care and family birthing suites. Bridgton Hospital offers a variety of services in the areas of oncology and hematology, podiatry, cardiology, neurology and diabetes education. It operates a surgical services department that provides inpatient and outpatient surgery services. The hospital also operates a full-service laboratory. Bridgton Hospital s radiology department offers a range of diagnostic services that includes mammography, ultrasound, CT scan and MRI. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. It is a member of the Central Maine Medical Center.
