Founded in 1938, Shickel Corporation is a full-service custom metal working company and machine shop. Located in Bridgewater, Va., it serves customers in the construction industry, museum exhibits, food processors, as well as the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturers. For pharmaceutical and food industries, the company designs/builds products, conforming to Food and Drug Administration requirements. It offers services, such as supplying engineering, design, project management, welding, fabrication, precision machining, finishing and installation services to the customers. Shickel Corporation received an award in 2009 for Fabricator of the Year.
