Located near the Bridgewater Commons Mall, and five minutes from the Somerset Medical Center, On Fire 4 Fitness provides a welcoming and energizing atmosphere for women of all ages. Co-Owners Myla Groth and Brenda Linton felt called to start On Fire 4 Fitness to reach out to women who wish to make a huge difference in their health and lives. What separates On Fire 4 Fitness from your typical gym is the special attention they provide to its clients. The trainers and equipment can accommodate women of any body type, from twelve years old to over a hundred years young. Not everyone comes to the gym with the same needs and abilities; some clients may be recovering from surgery where as others are simply looking to lose weight and tone muscle. On Fire 4 Fitness uses P.A.C.E. equipment, which utilizes hydraulic resistance versus pulleys or weights? This safely allows women of all abilities to work out every muscle group without any of the typical soreness. It's the nurturing and friendly environment that is the secret to On Fire 4 Fitness success. Everyone that comes in has a story to tell, Myla explains. Just as everybody has different needs within a gym, everyone has different needs outside the gym. The staff at On Fire 4 Fitness realizes this and don't believe that the relationship with their clients ends at the door. To keep the body strong is half the battle, but to keep the heart and mind strong is equally as important. The loss of a spouse or an illness in the family can be devastating, yet strength can be found in the support of others at this gym. Everybody knows your name here and that is important. It's really about the ladies and cheering them on to meet their goals.The flexible hours from early morning to night at On Fire 4 Fitness allow its members to walk in and work out at their own convenience. Providing Personal Training for a 30 minute cardio and strength workout in a supportive and beautiful space is what makes On Fire 4 Fitness a cut above the rest. Current Class Offerings: Zumba, Cross Training, Tai Chi and Ballet Barre, each class is led by an trained professional with enthusiasm and fun as a big component to the workout. Personal Training and Nutritional Guidance is available and included in the cost of every membership.
Business History
On Fire 4 Fitness was born to fill a need that began at the closing of a local Women's gym. The heartfelt stories of the women who were devastated about the closing touched the hearts of Myla and Brenda, who then pursued the possibility of creating a caring, healthy fitness environment, meeting the needs of women of all ages and abilities. On Fire 4 Fitness is the result of that pursuit. The business model? It's all about relationships. Taking care of the fitness needs is one aspect to the level of care found at this facility but it is so much more. The business has grown to include many exciting classes, and has maintained the care level so important to this business/ministry.

The workout is based on the use of specialized hydraulic equipment originally designed for cardiac rehab and physical therapy. There are no weights, pins or pulleys to change or use. The hydraulic system of the machines adjusts to each woman's energy and ability levels. The equipment is easy to use and produces results safely with no soreness.
