Dr. Delatte, although an optometrist (not an M.D.) and without the high-end cornealtopography equiment, correctly suspected I had early-stage Keratoconus many years ago when we was fitting me for lenses. Every other O.D. said it was just a astigmatism. I went to an opthamologist who had the diagnosing equipment, found out that Dr. Delatte's suspicions were correct, and then got a procedure in CA that saved my sight. Thank you, Dr. Delatte!
