      Charlie Roach, DAc, LAc, FMP, CSMA, is the founder of Root and Branch Holistic Care in Brevard, North Carolina. Charlie is uniquely skilled in blending Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practices with Functional Medicine and Orthopedic care to give you the best possible care. Charlie earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and a Doctorate of Acupuncture. As an experienced and certified Functional Medicine provider, he carefully investigates the root cause of troublesome symptoms. He customizes treatment plans to address a wide variety of issues, such as digestive disorders, mold illness, and neuroendocrine concerns. Furthermore, he utitlizes specialty labs to find the root cause of your illness. Charlie is a licensed provider of acupuncture, which is one of the many therapies he offers to support pain management and men’s and women’s health. He can also address musculoskeletal and nervous system disorders with cupping, Gua Sha, and Tui Na massage. Anyone with a desk job or a hectic schedule can turn to Charlie for help with postural assessment and correction and functional nutrition and supplements. He works to ensure patients have less pain in the present and the future by making choices that pay richly over time. Charlie also specializes in sports medicine, so anyone from athletes to weekend warriors can turn to him for injury care, movement correction, Kinesio Taping®, and more.
