Located in Brentwood, N.Y., Southeast Elementary School offers classes to students in grades kindergarten through five. Its curriculum includes English, math, science and social studies. It also provides various cocurricular activities, such as fine arts, music, physical education, football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, softball, baseball, wrestling and swimming. The school also offers practice classes in reading and writing. It has a library, guidance and counseling departments, and a computer laboratory. The school s guidance department consists of counselors and psychologists who look into emotional and social needs of students. It operates a daily lunch program at its cafeteria. Southeast Elementary School is part of Brentwood School District that comprises 11 elementary and seven secondary schools.
