Provided by DexKnowsSo I call this place because my Mother goes here and after looking on the website and see that it is supposed to be a warm fuzzy family owned business I give them a call to schedule an eye exam for my wife who only has one day a week off which rotates each week and is unknown in advance. I am told they have 1 appointment for that day and could they please have my wife's insurance information because they need to call the insurance company in advance to see if she is covered. I exclaimed "WHAT?" Then she tries to tell me all business do this in advance like I am an idiot. Being a local business working in the housing finance business I lik to keep my moneyin the local community. When I told her I didn't have this information and if we wanted we could just pay cash that wasn't good enough. She wanted my wifes health insurance info. So now I have to take time to call my wife at work and then call this women back to satisfy her requirement. It just makes me wonder what people like myself do who do not have insurance under their employer but are more than capable of paying cash at time of service. I guess we would have to take our money somewhere else because tey only take insurance. Is that crazy or what?

Provided by DexKnowsI would only recommend this clinic for eye glasses not for contact lenses. I went in for the initial contact lens visit and was told if I wait two and a half weeks my follow up visit would be covered under new annual exam. So I waited then at my next appointment they didn't say how much the visit was so I thought it was covered. Then I recieved a bill in the mail for a foloow up exam. When I called and said the doctor had us wait to come back so the visit would be covered the receptionist rudely said, well she was wrong. I had also stopped by the office to ask where I should get the les solution and the receptionist rolled her eyes and while laughing said anywhere. Since this was my first experience with contact lenses I thought I should ask before purchasing something.
