This is a very large practice with a very large patient base. It is easy to feel like you are lost in the shuffle sometimes. One has the feeling that when your cardiologist walks into the room where you are waiting, that the sum total of his knowledge of your history is what he has gleaned from your file,as he reads it, on his way there. I have had two years of appointments and each and every time fully half of the consultation time was him refreshing his memory from my file......while I wait patiently for him to get up to speed again. Perhaps I am just not that memorable but for a heart patient, who is literally putting his life in this guy's hands, some pretense of a continuing professional relationship would be a bit more comforting. Nearly all of the cardiologists practicing in Kitsap County are affiliated with this practice, so there are few options if you want to be treated locally, but I am looking into them. On the plus side, I am still alive, so that's something.
