• Crowns
  Dr. Lewis will first take an x-ray to determine exactly where the infection is occurring. We may inject local anesthetic into the tooth or cheek to numb the area. Next, we will make a very small opening in the tooth and remove the infected tissue. Dr. Lewis may use a dental laser as part of this procedure. The roots will be filled with gutta-percha material and then sealed off. We may top the tooth with a crown to restore its shape and strength.
