Recently I called and gave required information to be able to schedule an appointment for a consultation about an employment law matter. It was agreed there would be a $200.00 fee for the initial consultation. The first appointment made was rescheduled by the law office due to sickness. The day before the second scheduled appointment, the law office left an answering machine message cancelling the appointment. Without being asked specifics about the case, the message said the attorney, " had done some research and determined there was no claim", so therefore there was no need to meet. I called to ask for understanding also giving more details about the case. The secretary said, "We have no experience in that area." While I appreciated the return phone calls, overall I found those I spoke with representing this firm to be disinterested, disingenuous, inconsiderate and unprofessional.
