Brattleboro Area Middle School is a public school that provides academic classes to more than 300 students in grades seven and eight. The school offers educational classes in vocal and instrumental music, agriculture, world languages, social studies, science, physical education, math, language arts and business studies. It has a guidance department that counsels students regarding educational needs and personal problems. Brattleboro Area Middle School organizes a range of athletic activities, such as cross country, football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, track and field, wrestling, baseball, softball and tennis. Located in Brattleboro, Vt., the school is a part of Brattleboro Union High School District 6, which operates elementary, middle and high schools.
