Francis Walsh Intermediate School provides enrollment to more than 1,200 students in grades five through eight. It is operated by the Branford Public School. The school s curriculum includes classes in mathematics, science, social studies, language art, technology education, music, computer technology, physical education, health, world language and arts. The school s extracurricular activities include dance classes, health center, talent show, gymnastic, swimming, basketball, band, chorus and orchestra. The school also has a library media center that provides a full range of research tools and technology. The school also has a lecture hall that provides opportunities for large group instructions, lectures, films, concerts and plays.
