General Info

In 2016, Briarwood Animal Hospital celebrated 55 years of continuous service. In 1961, Dr. Hugh Ward opened Briarwood Animal Hospital and although some of the faces have changed, our commitment to patient care remains the focus of our practice. In 1978, we opened Millcreek Reservoir Animal Clinic to serve the reservoir and Rankin county area. Our Millcreek practice was the first veterinary clinic in the reservoir area and continues to grow to better serve the area.
