Founded in 1972, Limona Elementary School provides a range of academic and recreational activities for students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers classes in math, science, social studies and language arts. It also hosts sessions in music, art, physical education and computer studies. Limona Elementary School provides guidance counseling and special and gifted and talented education programs. In addition, the school operates a parent-teacher organization. It offers English for Speakers of Other Languages and speech therapy programs. Limona Elementary School s media center houses a selection of books and online reference materials. The school is governed by Hillsborough County Public Schools.
