I made an appointment for the Brandon Office yesterday, for orthotics, while at the South Tampa office. I was told by the receptionist that my insurance company might not cover them. I told the receptionist that if there was a problem with my insurance to please call me, and gave her my home and work #s. When I got to my appointment today, I was told my insurance company didn't cover the orthotics. I told the receptionist that it would have been nice if I was notified, and got the response, "Yeah, I don't know why I didn't call you.. sorry". A wasted trip in Brandon traffic, a wasted lunch hour. I'll be darned if these people get any of my money - even though I'll probably have to buy and pay for the orthotics myself! What a lousy way to do business.
