We purchased a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy on Saturday, Nov 29 as a Christmas present for our 4 yr old daughter. She already loves this puppy. We were assured that the puppy had been checked and was free from illness and was from a reputable breeder. They did say that she would need to see the vet within 5 days as a routine and that the visit was free. The puppy refused to eat both Sat and Sun. We took her to our vet on Monday and found that she had inflamed rear end glands and an intestinal virus requiring antibiotics. She has also now developed a very congested breathing pattern. We paid $1200 for this dog. Everything you hear about not buying a pet from a pet store is absolutely true. I would not recommend a purchase from All About Puppies.
