There is a sweet spirit in the Alafia Village community. I've had my family member there for 3 years now and it is the best decision that I have ever made. My mother has had the best of care and assistance yet has maintained her independence. That is what the management and staff strive to do each and every day. The residents are treated like royalty! It is more like family than an assisted living arrangement. There are 3 nurses on the staff who dispense the medications and are available at all times. The majority of the staff have been there for 3 or more years. That alone speaks for itself. Again, it is the best decision that I could have made. Thank you to all at Alafia Village who have made my mother's life so comfortable and given me peace of mind.

alafia village to me has bad managment, they have no nurse on each shift they only have one employee in memory support unit to take care of the needs of 21 residents which is illegal, their is supposed to be 1 employee for every 8 residents. the food is not good and the residents dont come first in this facility. i would not recomend this facility for anyone!!
