We offer the highest quality workmanship at the best possible prices. From your walkway and front steps to your chimney and retaining walls, we can do it all for you. Our range of work goes from simple patches and repairs up to some of the most complicated and prestigious projects around. We can restore or build any chimney or fireplace you would like - no matter how small and simple, how large and ornate. Our policy is to almost always rebuild a chimney rather than repoint. The fact of the matter is that once a problem becomes visible to you from the ground, then the structure is usually beyond saving. This is because chimneys rot from the inside out. So repointing would be like putting a band aid on a broken leg. And besides, rebuilding will only cost you an additional $500- $600 on average. Our labor cost remains the same. So you would only have to factor in the extra cost of new brick and flashing. As the owner/operator I, Dan Driscoll, am involved personally in the actual building of every project. Because of this we are able to beat the prices of many companies that need to hire outside help for skilled work and installations. Such companies (typically chimney sweeps) are dependent on others for success. This is not the case with us. We therefore have far less cost to pass onto you in order to complete a job.

Only giving one star since have to select one
Dan seems very unprofessional. I researched for someone to remove my chimney after furnace work was done and prior to roof being done. At first Dan came out and gave an estimate then said when ready to just give a few days notice which we did but he doesn't respond until 1240 am via email. When I respond his suggested day doesn't work with another one no response then when he finally does is rude saying if we change to find someone else that he will be there Friday afternoon. On Friday we take the day off of work to prep everything and just before noon he messages with the below:
What time for you guys to be mad at me now. I won't be able to make it this afternoon to take care of that job. Not a big deal anyways just have the roofer or the carpenter do it. It's not like it's a specialty item. It's just demolition

I got 3 quotes and Dan had best price, at first I was nervous because his price was so reasonable but the work was done quickly and perfectly. I would highly recommend using him for your masonry and chimney work!
Mr. Driscoll and his crew installed a chimney liner for me. Great middle of the road price. He didnt seem to mind that I stood over his shoulder the whole time either.... at least he didnt let on! Great job, sealed everything up nice and tight. Also put on a chimney cap. It fit the chimney perfectly.
Seriously the nicest masonry work I've ever seen. Beautiful stone, put together so masterfully I can't believe iot. Like a Mayan Ruin its so accurate and tight fitting. He really loves what he does and was cheerful the whole job. A very smooth relaxing experience for both of us I think
Dan redid my front steps and did a beautiful job. He did a reaalyy nice design with brick and stone on the big platform instead of just brick like it used to be. Very easy to work with!
I can't believe someone runs a business this way. he lived up to all the horror stories you hear from contractors.
We hired him and paid half up front. his crew came in and began some work then bailed 1/4 of the way through the job. Also stole my rake inthe process. We never heard back from them even after repeatedly calling daily for two weeks.
he left the place in shambles after taking the money and has not been heard from since. We are now left witha giant mess and trying to find another contractor to come in to clean up his mess!
We had a fireplace built in our new house and we really just dont like the brick look at all. So we had them cover it with stone and it looks great now. Helped us pick out just the right stone I think! He did put a small scratch in the living room floor which I didnt notice till a few days later. But he fixed it very well when I called him about it
dan was actally not the cheapest bid i got but i liked hm the best. he didnt seem to be pushy and i loved his photos. they tore down my entire chimney in one day and had it half built the next day. looks absolutely gorgeous with all new bricks! they finished the next day and cleaned up pretty good. recommend!
The gas company told us we needed our chimney cleaned out. When Mr. Driscoll arrived my husband mistakenly told him we needed our fireplace cleaned (OOPS!) We did not realize the 2 are not connected . I asked why he didnt go down to the basement? I then told him the gas company story. And then he explained the difference to us. He then went to the basement and cleaned the furnace flue for free. He gave us several recommendations. No pressure at all. He showed my husband the problems so that we did not just have to take his word. Will readily recommend him to others.
