Garfield Elementary School provides academic courses to students in pre-kindergarten through grade four. The school has a guidance department that provides consultation, individual and group counseling, developmental lessons and coordinating services. The school has a library media center that provides online catalog and offers students the opportunity to access library materials and related resources on the Web. Garfield Elementary School offers a variety of athletic activities that are planned and directed by certified physical instructors. Its core curriculum includes vocal and instrumental music, technology, art, physical education, reading and writing, math, science, health and social studies.
