We are located in an area of many conveniences about 20 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico in sunny Bradenton, Florida. We are a resident-owned, over 55 community of 346 home sites, which are situated on wide streets with curbs and gutters. We currently have 139 owners, with the balance of home sites leased from the Co-op, thus offering an option of rental or ownership to all residents. We require a series of background and credit checks of all new residents.Plantation Village offers many amenities including: exercise equipment ; laundry facilities ; a large clubhouse with poolroom and library ; a swimming pool ; and shuffleboard courts. We are minutes from great shopping, fine dining, golf courses, sandy beaches and boating areas and fine arts theaters in Sarasota. Plantation Village has available both quality fine pre-owned homes and new homes from time to time.We also have lots available from time to time on which to put your own home. In our community, one can make many new friends through our various social and recreational activities such as bowling and golf leagues, crafts, potluck dinners, coffees, dances, card games, bingo and fun band, etc. We have many people living here who are retired, as well as those who work.
