Buggs Island Telephone is the absolute worse telephone company that I have ever dealt with, and that is when the phone actually works! They are slow, inefficient and charge you for residential service that they don't even provide. A $25.00 residential service fee for fixing a problem with their phone lines, that in the end, was NOT fixed. No telephone service would be better than the so called service that they provide. You have a better chance of climbing the telephone pole (like in the show Green Acers), and trying to make a call then placing one from your home phone! I wouldn't even consider 1/2 a star for this company. J. Washburn
