Got the run around at Ressler, VERY POOR EXPERIENCE.



This was my experience with Ressler in Bozeman. I was looking at Cadillac's website for information on a new ATS, and was pleased to see that there was a $100 test drive offered. I met all the criterion, 21 years of age, valid license, 2004 or newer non-GM vehicle.



I went in and test drove the vehicle, and afterwards was told that the 2007 Triumph motorcycle is not a car and therefore Ressler would not be honoring he $100 offer.



If the offer had specified that it must be a 2004 or newer car or truck, I would have not been irritated. However, since my motorcycle is clearly a vehicle, and Ressler simply arbitrarily decided to stiff me on the $100 offer after I took my time to come out and listen to their sales pitch (the intent of offering $100 for a test drive right) I was not pleased.



After calling Cadillac corporate and talking with them, they simply stated that it was Ressler's call to deny me the offer and there was nothing more I could do than to pursue the matter with Ressler.



So, if you are considering buying a vehicle from Ressler, know that they would not stand behind a $100 test drive offer. Does that give you confidence that they are going to stand behind their product? Are they going to do everything possible to give you quality service and support if they won't honor a $100 test drive offer I qualified for?



On a side note I found the salesmen to be offputting in that they seamed genuinely irritated to deal with me. This was repeated when I went in with a buddy a couple days later who was looking at another vehicle. Same deal, his salesman seamed to be frankly irritated to have to answer questions, take us for a test drive.
