I first met Dr. Ortiz after sustaining a injury to my left ankle. He came to the hospital emergency room and immediately reassured me that everything would be OK. He took his time and explained the surgery I would need and even took the time to call my hospital room the night of surgery to see how I was feeling. He explained every step of the recovery to me and my family. He is the kindest and most compassionate doctor I have ever met.
