Established in 1924, the Boynton Beach Fire Rescue Department is governed by the City of Boynton Beach in Florida. The department offers fire suppression and technical rescue services. It manages a staff of more than 145 employees. The department provides hurricane and disaster preparedness services. It conducts annual inspections for the commercial and residential areas. The department serves the Hypoluxo, Ocean Ridge and Briny Breezes areas in Florida. It provides hazardous materials response, fire cause determination and arson investigation services. The department operates a training center and offers juvenile fire setter and child safety seat installation programs. It has achieved the Life Safety Achievement Award from the Residential Fire Safety Institute. The Boynton Beach Fire Rescue Department s fire stations have a fleet of advanced life support fire engines and rescue trucks.
