Tara B. Clarke, DNP, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Childrens Heart Institute, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. Tara earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Murray State University, Murray, Kentucky.Tara began her career in the emergency department, seeing both adult and pediatric patients, and gained extensive experience in cardiac care. She also previously worked at a community health center, where she was dedicated to pediatric care. Tara emphasizes the importance of listening to patients from diverse backgrounds, and believes that understanding their needs is crucial for effective health care delivery.As a Kentucky native, Tara finds it rewarding to serve her community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and reading.
