C. Elizabeth Rieg Regional is an educational institution that enrolls students in kindergarten through grade 12. It serves children who suffer from multiple disabilities and helps them in enhancing communication skills. The institution emphasizes the participation of children in recreational activities, as well as offers services for the development of social and daily living skills. C. Elizabeth Rieg Regional also provides occupational and physical therapy services and features augmentative communication programs that improve the communication skills of students through sign language, pictorial representation, computers, voice output devices, and prints and words. In addition, it features the Mobility Opportunities Via Education program that teaches functional motor skills for adult living to students.
