Belair Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care to dogs and cats as well as exotics such as birds, reptiles and rodents. Belair Veterinary Hospital has been serving Bowie and the surrounding communities since 1968. Ranked in the top ten veterinary facilities in Prince George's County according to Washington Consumer's Checkbook, we provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. Our facility includes in-hospital surgery suite (with an Ellman high frequency radiosurgical unit), in-house digital x-ray capabilities, tonopen eye pressure measurement device, a well-stocked pharmacy, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas. Our latest addition is our state-of-the-art dental suite utilizing a Midmark 5000 dental unit with high and low speed drill capabilities. Belair Veterinary Hospital provides the primary veterinary care for Rude Ranch Animal Rescue located in Harwood, Maryland, as well as for P.A.W.S. (Patuxent Animal Welfare Society) and B.R.E.W. (Beagle Rescue, Education & Welfare).
