Bowdle School, founded in 1886, offers educational and extracurricular programs to students from grades kindergarten through 12. Curriculum offered by the school includes math, social studies, science, English, Spanish, French, social studies, family and consumer science, advanced computers, business law, art, agriscience, physical education, and music. The school offers a variety of sporting programs, such as basketball, volleyball, cross-country, cheerleading, golf, and track. It also offers various extracurricular activities to students, including school play, Future Framers of America, quiz bowl, and annual staff. Bowdle School also offers a computer lab, vocational agriculture shop, and a library. It is located in Bowdle, S.D.
