Fernwood Elementary School enrolls students in kindergarten through grade six. It employs more than 50 teachers and paraprofessionals that include assistants, academic instructors, guidance counselors, librarians, secretaries and psychologists. The school maintains and operates a library that stocks books under several titles. Fernwood Elementary School conducts classes in math, science, reading, language arts and social studies. The school s extracurricular activities include physical education, music, and arts and crafts. It has a parent teacher association that supports fundraising activities and events of the school. Additionally, the school operates garden and knitting clubs. Located in Bothell, Wash., Fernwood Elementary School is a part of the Northshore School District, which operates a several elementary, middle and high schools.
