Boonsboro Middle School, founded in 1976, is affiliated with the Washington County Public Schools. Located in Boonsboro, Md., the school offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to more than 700 students in grades six through eight. It is spread on an area of more than 100,000-square-feet. Boonsboro Middle School offers various programs, including English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. The school also offers language arts, family and consumer sciences, band, music, chorus, technical education, orchestra, life skills and special education. It has a parent-teacher association that focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development, by enhancing communication between home and school.
